Quick fixes (most common)
1) Notifications aren't showing
- Ensure notifications are Allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → Real Minder.
- Ensure notifications are Allowed in Android Settings → Apps → Real Minder → Notifications (turn on) and enable the Reminders channel.
- (Optional) For timely alerts, set Android Settings → Apps → Real Minder → Battery → Unrestricted, and keep background activity allowed.
- Open the app once after installing to finish setup.
- If you snoozed a task, the next alert shifts accordingly.
2) Reminders fire at the wrong time
- Check your device Time Zone (Settings → General → Date & Time).
- Verify the activity's repeat interval and start date in Edit Activity.
- If you recently changed time zones, open the app once to refresh schedules.
3) I can't edit or snooze an activity
- Tap the activity → More (⋯) → Edit / Snooze.
- If the task is already completed today, create the next due date from History.
4) iPad landscape layout looks different
- Real Minder uses an optimized tablet layout, so some controls shift to the toolbar.
- Try Settings → Appearance to switch Light/Dark/System.
5) Data & privacy controls
- Local-only data: Activities and History live on your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
- Manage content anytime: Settings → Data → Clear Activities / Clear History.
- Read details and edge cases (iCloud backups, support emails) on Data & deletion.
FAQ
What types of repeats are supported?
Daily, weekly, monthly, and custom intervals like “every 3 days” or “every 2 weeks.”
How do snoozes work?
Snooze shifts the current due item forward (e.g., +2 days) without changing its long-term cadence.
What's in History?
A dated log of completed activities so you can review progress and streaks.
Does Real Minder require an account?
No. You can use the app fully without signing in.
What diagnostics are collected?
Optional, anonymous crash/performance info (no personal data). Configure this in Settings → Privacy.

Data & deletion (how it works)
No delete request needed for in-app data. Real Minder stores your activities and history locally on your device. When you uninstall the app, android/iOS removes that data.

- To clear content before uninstalling: Settings → Data → Clear Activities / Clear History.
